3CX × Bitrix24

Connect 3CX with Bitrix24 in Saudi Arabia

3CX Bitrix24 integration

What is the 3CX Bitrix24 integration?

The 3CX Bitrix24 integration is a native, server-side link between the 3CX phone system and Bitrix24 CRM that automatically matches inbound and outbound calls to Bitrix24 contacts and leads, and logs every call as an activity in the CRM without any manual entry.

It is built on a ready-made CRM template inside 3CX, enabled and configured centrally from the 3CX Admin Console. Rather than relying on a per-agent plugin, it runs server-side once it is connected to your Bitrix24 API credentials. When an inbound call rings, 3CX looks the number up in Bitrix24 and pops the matching record onto the agent’s screen through the 3CX browser extension (Chrome or Edge) or the 3CX Web Client.

This integration requires 3CX PRO or Enterprise — CRM integrations are not available in the Free or Standard edition. It works with both Bitrix24 cloud and Bitrix24 self-hosted (On-Premise), provided the 3CX server can reach the Bitrix24 API using the appropriate credentials. Because matching and journaling run on the server, every agent using the web client or extension gets consistent behaviour without individual setup.

  • Number matching: exact, partial or E.164, including Saudi numbers as +9665XXXXXXXX
  • Runs server-side and centrally — no need to configure each workstation
  • Covers inbound and outbound, answered and missed calls

What the integration does

Caller ID from Bitrix24

When a call comes in, 3CX matches the number in Bitrix24 and shows the contact or lead name instead of an unknown number.

Screen-pop

The matching Bitrix24 record opens automatically on screen as the phone rings or is answered, via the 3CX browser extension or Web Client.

Click2Call

Start a call straight from inside Bitrix24 by clicking a number; 3CX places the call through the phone system.

Call journaling

Every call — answered or missed, inbound or outbound — is logged automatically as a Bitrix24 activity or CRM record with no manual data entry.

Auto-create leads

Optionally create a new Bitrix24 contact or lead automatically for any unknown caller so no enquiry is lost.

Central setup

The Bitrix24 template is enabled and configured once in the 3CX Admin Console and applies to every agent.

How ECOLOR sets it up

  1. Assess

We review your 3CX version and edition and your Bitrix24 deployment (cloud or on-premise), and map your call flows and team requirements.

  2. Connect API/webhook

We enable the Bitrix24 template in the 3CX Admin Console and connect it to your Bitrix24 API credentials and webhook endpoint.

  3. Number matching (+966/E.164)

We configure matching rules to normalize Saudi numbers (05x and +966) to E.164 so caller lookup is accurate.

  4. Journaling rules

We define how answered and missed calls are logged, how leads versus contacts are matched, and whether new records are auto-created.

  5. Test & handover

We test real inbound and outbound calls, verify screen-pops and journaling, then hand over the system with concise documentation.

What you need before you start

  • 3CX PRO or Enterprise
  • Bitrix24 admin / API access
  • A Bitrix24 REST/webhook credential the 3CX server can reach
  • Chrome or Edge with the 3CX extension, or the 3CX Web Client
  • Customer numbers stored in Bitrix24 in a matchable format (E.164 preferred)

No custom development is needed for the native setup — just a supported edition and Bitrix24 credentials.

Saudi deployment notes & limits

Saudi numbers are often stored in mixed formats (05XXXXXXXX locally or +9665XXXXXXXX internationally). To prevent match failures, ECOLOR normalizes numbers to E.164 (+966) during setup, so 3CX recognises the customer whether they call from a local or international format.

Bitrix24 distinguishes leads from contacts, and a number may match either. ECOLOR configures the matching logic and priority between them to suit your workflow, and ensures Arabic names display correctly on the agent screen.

Native 3CX journaling is designed to log calls as CRM activities; it does not perform bulk outbound dialing or programmatic campaigns. When you need bulk outbound calling or campaign automation, that is where ECOLOR AutoConnect applies — an ECOLOR-developed solution, not a native 3CX feature, kept separate from the native Bitrix24 template.

Frequently asked questions

Which 3CX edition is required?
The integration requires 3CX PRO or Enterprise. CRM integrations are not available in the Free or Standard edition.
Does it work with Bitrix24 cloud and on-premise?
Yes. It works with Bitrix24 cloud and Bitrix24 self-hosted (On-Premise), as long as the 3CX server can reach the Bitrix24 API with valid credentials.
Can it auto-create leads for unknown callers?
Yes. The integration can optionally create a new Bitrix24 contact or lead automatically when a previously unknown number calls in.
Does it support Saudi +966 matching?
Yes. ECOLOR normalizes Saudi numbers (05x and +966) to E.164 so that exact and partial matching works reliably.
Is it server-side or per-agent?
Setup is central and server-side via the 3CX Admin Console, while the record pop is displayed through each agent’s 3CX browser extension or Web Client.
Can it do outbound campaigns?
Native 3CX logs calls and supports Click2Call, but bulk outbound dialing and programmatic campaigns need ECOLOR AutoConnect — an ECOLOR-developed solution, not a native 3CX feature.
How is setup handled?
ECOLOR handles assessment, API/webhook connection, number-matching, journaling rules, then testing with real calls and handover. Contact [email protected] to start.
